The hosts of the mountain hostel and ristoro San Romerio are Gino Bongulielmi and his family.
Their experience of 33 years of work on the mountain have made the small cottage a special place for visitors. It can be used as a station for resting during trekking tours or for spending weeks of holidays as a home and starting point for hikes.
At times, the host family is supported by volunteers.
The hearts and souls of Gino Bongulielmi and his family belong to the nature of the Puschlav mountains, their traditions and the hospitality to guests. The beautiful simple nature of the Poschiavo and joy of working and being in contact with guests from all over the world, make the hard life in the mountains worthwhile.
Above all we value the personal and individual care for our guests in this cozy atmosphere and our love for the mountains.

Since 33 Years on San Romerio
For 33 years, Gino Bongulielmi and his family have been hosting guests on the alp San Romerio, with its chalet and the cozy ristoro. Tradition and breathtaking nature make this little paradise an outstanding experience.
Wwoofers welcome
We are looking for volunteers who want to breathe some alpine air and experience the simple life close to nature for a few weeks in return for board and lodging.
With us you can learn about the simple alpine life first hand. We will be happy to welcome you. Minimum stay 2 weeks.
